HR Vision for 100K+ Team Members

As part of its strategic planning for the new decade, AdventHealth’s Human Resources department envisioned key offerings designed to enhance the employee experience and reinforce the organization's commitment to its workforce.

I co-designed 15 concepts that foster a strong workplace culture and serve as key differentiators, positioning AdventHealth as a leader in employee engagement. Through close collaboration with executives, I helped shape a forward-thinking strategy that aligns with the organization’s long-term vision while addressing the evolving needs of its employees.

Translating Written And Spoken Requirements To Concepts

Brainstorming & Ideating
We designed and facilitated two co-creation workshops with people-process-technology activity, inviting 53 leaders to brainstorm tangible concepts that they want to commit to the employees.
Iteration With Operation Leaders
After workshops, we drafted initial concepts and narratives. We then hosted three design sessions with HR operation leaders to receive feedback and refine the concepts. The key driver was to imagine and identify what’s a differentiator for AdventHealth.

Melissa’s Journey

For research respondents to digest 15 concepts quickly, we weaved them into a story of Melissa, a nurse with five years of experience.

12 Focus Groups With 70 Frontline Employees

I co-designed discussion activities such as card sorting and bullseye prioritization for the 12 employee focus groups. I also analyzed and visualized the insights, uncovering which concepts rise to the top among five segments.

Align Corporate Senior Leadership Expectation With Frontline Reality

We presented our insights and recommendations to the top 50 executives’ quarterly roundtable. We conducted the same bullseye activity before revealing frontline’s most attractive concepts, and highlighted similarities and gaps in their perception compared to employees.
