Joy is a bicultural service and experience designer with 6 years of healthcare experience, currently working at AdventHealth Design Center.
Specialized in service design, UX design, design research, and workshop facilitation, she translates complex challenges into strategic concepts that enhance user experiences and support organizational goals. Joy excels collaborating in cross-functional teamwork and uses systems thinking and visual storytelling to create impactful, human-centered experiences.
Joy was born and raised in South Korea and finished high school in Germany. She lives in Orlando, Florida, after graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a B.F.A. in Service Design and a B.F.A. in Industrial Design.
She draws design inspiration from life, which expands her understanding of systems. She is a marathon runner, a principle cellist at the AdventHealth orchestra, a film photographer, and an avid traveler visiting friends and their world.
